Ashleigh Donnelly - Owner
I obtained my diploma in Makeup Artistry from the prestigious Sara Hill, Academy of Makeup, Glasgow. Through the Academy, I was able to learn from award winning makeup artists, as well as lead artists from Illamasqua, Hourglass, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Giorgio Armani.
Upon graduating, I was given the opportunity to work alongside Wella Hair, providing makeup for the models of their annual "Trend Vision Awards" show, in both Glasgow and London.
For the past 6 years, I have been working alongside photographers, hairstylists and various other suppliers within the wedding industry, as a full time bridal makeup artist. This has given me the chance to grow Ophelia Bridal Makeup greatly, and I have been able to build a team of talented artists to work alongside me as part of a carefully selected, professional team. As a result of these opportunities, my work has been published in the Daily Record newspaper, The Scottish Wedding Directory, To Have & To Hold Scotland, Brides Up North and Tie The Knot Scotland.

Bridal Makeup Trial:
It is recommended that a bridal makeup trial is organised to take place, roughly 3-6 months before the wedding is due to take place. The trial will begin with a 10 minute consultation to get an idea of the makeup style you would like to create. During this consultation, your dress, chosen colours of the day, face shape, and over all theme will be taken in to consideration. This trial will also ensure that any skin sensitivities are noted during the appointment, and it will allow you to discuss any requests or requirements you may have ahead of time. Everything discussed, and the products used will be documented for reference.
On The Day Services:
On the day services include travelling to your location of choice, and re-creating the chosen look from your previous makeup trial. The rest of the bridal party will also have the opportunity to discuss their individual makeup requirements, whilst still maintaining a cohesive look with the rest of the bridal party. Should your photographer already be on site, this is the perfect moment to snap some natural photographs, whilst you and your bridal party relax during your makeup application.
